Modules for Teaching Statistics with Pedagogies using Active Learning (MTStatPAL) will provide all-inclusive modules that will help inexperienced teachers facilitate active learning lessons. MTStatPAL will make it easy for these teachers to include active learning in the classroom by providing them with scripts of the activities and video segments of experienced instructors completing the activities with students. A total of 10 modules will be created and tested over a three-year period covering a spectrum of topics commonly found in an introductory statistics course.  At the end of the grant period all teachers of introductory statistics at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) will use these activity-based lessons.  Select a module above to get started.
